A bit late in posting. This month happens to be the 366th birth anniversary of renowned German naturalist and illustrator Maria Sibylla Merian. Google took the opportunity to celebrate this anniversary by creating what is called the Google Doodle showcasing some of her amazing illustrations of the animal kingdom, before the dawn of cameras and photographs.
