Born in an artistic family, Michael Chaikin has earned a reputation of being a versatile sculpture maker. Chaikin was born in Kingston, Surrey in 1957 to an average English family as his father was an architect and his mother a school teacher. I had the pleasure of seeing some of his sculptures at the Majlis Art Gallery in Bastakiya. The video showcases one of the pieces that I had seen at the above gallery in Dubai. Continue reading

For those of you who wonder who I can be both so technical/scientific minded AND creative minded at the same time (no, I am not a misfit), take a look at the brilliant Mercedes-Benz ad. Yes, like you, I have a right hemisphere and a left hemisphere of the brain, both of which I happen to use quite well and with ease.
The agency behind the 3 set ads is Y&R Interactive. The above is the ‘paint’ ad, details of which are seen below. This is the first in the series which is more popular used, perhaps because of the bright colours.
